Why did Kemet attribute the benu ,aka the pheonix, and Osiris to the morning star?
Why did Rome attribute Venus to the morning star?

I ask these questions because we sometimes think we are engaging and challenging a worldview when we haven’t asked the questions to understand that worldview.

Many people believe that the cultures and people we attribute as Roman and Greek would consider themselves as part of the west. This could not be farther from the truth. The histories we are told about the past rarely contain the full and divergent dynamics of what was going on during millennia past and rarely do we hear or read the words of the people who actually were living during the time. This can be applied to many different cultures and people past and present. Taking skills and tools from a group of people past and present does not mean you understand the worldview and values of those people. The lack of understanding applied to other groups can lead to assumptions and massive misconceptions that only a few can gain a benefit.
